Reading Time: 2 minutes
Day-time television hosts were certainly not going to ghost their Halloween spirit, on Halloween. Just like other celebrities, talk show personalities showed up to the studio with their best costumes. We compiled our favorite Halloween costumes worn by our favorite tv hosts.
1. Jennifer Hudson as Missy Elliott
For the Halloween episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show this year, the EGOT winner decided to embrace hip-hop fashion. Hudson paid homage to Missy Elliott, one of the most iconic female rappers of her generation. The singer dressed in an oversized, inflatable black jumpsuit, a nod to Elliott’s 1997 legendary hit “The Rain.”
2. Sherri Shepherd as Beyonce
It’s absolutely obvious — Sherri Shepherd is a Beyonce stan. For the Halloween tribute of her self-titled talk show, the television host recreated six of Beyonce’s looks from her Renaissance Tour. One of Shepherd’s looks featured her take on the red bodysuit, bustier-style top and harness by Off-White that the pop star famously debuted in London.
3. Drew Barrymore as Bob Ross
For this year’s spooky episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the host channeled her inner Bob Ross. Barrymore transformed into the Joy of Painting host, copying his signature afro, beard and chest hair. She also donned one of Ross’ blue button down shirt and brown pants asked her sidekick.
4. Kelly Clarkson as a Vampire
For her Kellyoke segment for the Halloween episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the “Breakaway” hitmaker dressed as a literal vampire. Calling herself a “Rock and Roll vampire,” Clarkson wore a form-fitting long-sleeve black dress with a matching choker. To complete the ghostly look, her face was painted to appear pale matched with painted blood dripped from her smokey eyes.
