Viral Kid Dancer Salome Rivas Takes the Spotlight on ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’

Seven-year-old dancer Salome Rivas sure knows how to steal the show. The Miami resident recently appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show to perform a dance number where she stole the heart of the crowd.

On October 17, The Jennifer Hudson Show welcomed Rivas to set for a special interview. Amid guest starring on the show, the kid dancer talked about her past in dance.
“One day, my mom and dad put a music, I was a baby, and I stand up and started moving my hips,” she said.
After her short conversation with Hudson, Rivas took the stage to dance to Don Omar and Lil Jon’s “Let’s Get Crazy.” On stage, the Miami resident showed off her precise dance moves and cute facial expressions. It’s thus no surprise seeing the Miami resident effortlessly capturing the audience.
Later on, Hudson revealed that they prepared a sweet surprise for her. It turns out that Rivas had just celebrated her birthday after the American Idol alum celebrated hers. With that, the show has prepared a glittery gift for the viral kid.
“I saw that you like sparkly things, like sparkly jackets. So you know, I have to give my Virgo friend a gift, right? We got this lovely gift for you,” she said, then handing the shimmering unicorn jacket to Rivas.
Rivas is originally from the United States, although she’s of Venezuelan blood. She began dancing when she was two years old, taking ballet classes and getting training through her dancer parents. During the interview, Rivas stated that her favorite dance styles are salsa, ballroom, and hip-hop.
This little girl has been viral for some time now. She’s recognized for her dancing videos to Latin music, most especially reggaeton. Latin music stars including Colombian singer Karol G have seen her content and have reposted her.
At present, Rivas has 2.1 million followers on Instagram and 23.9 thousand followers on YouTube. Her social media accounts are currently being managed by her parents.
Fans Are Gushing Over Her Cuteness and Adorable Talent
Upon witnessing Rivas’s performance, fans were quick to comment on her performance. Clearly, she has attracted more fans with her recent guesting.

On Instagram, Rivas expressed gratitude for her fans. She’s also particularly mentioned her parents for their support.
