This Sunday marks American Idol Disney Night for Season 20, as the Top 10 take the stage to perform songs from some of our favorite movies. Now the episode’s lineup has been announced, and we know what each contestant is singing.
‘American Idol’ Disney Night Songs Announced
D23 announced the Disney Night lineup ahead of Sunday’s show, and we’re excited to see the Top 10 singers take on these iconic songs. Many of them we’ve heard time and time again, while others are more unexpected choices.
Some of the classics include “The Circle of Life” from The Lion King (sung by Christian Guardino), “Go the Distance” from Hercules (sung by Fritz Hager), “I See the Light” from Tangled (sung by HunterGirl), “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana (sung by Lady K), and “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from Toy Story (sung by Noah Thompson).
A few of the songs are likely to get us misty-eyed, including “Remember Me” from Coco (sung by Jay), “When She Loved Me” from Toy Story 2 (sung by Leah Marlene), and “You’ll Be in My Heart” from Tarzan (sung by Mike Parker).
Emyrson Flora chose a lesser-known song from Onward called “Carried Me with You” that will be interesting to hear. And Nicolina skipped the hero songs and went for “Poor Unfortunate Souls” from The Little Mermaid.

What Else to Expect from the Top 10 Episode
Sunday night’s show will feature a performance of “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Encanto, by Rhenzy Feliz and Adassa. The episode will also celebrate the return of nighttime shows such as the Main Street Electrical Parade at Disneyland.
Derek Hough will be mentoring the Top 10 contestants from Disneyland. He’s replacing Dear Evan Hansen star Ben Platt, who was initially announced as the mentor but was no longer available. Platt will, however, perform during the Season 20 finale.
After Sunday’s Disney Night episode, Monday night will feature a reunion episode marking 20 years of the show, featuring appearances from former judges Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, as well as several former winners and contestants.
