The Voice has shared an early release clip from next week’s new episode of Season 26, featuring a Blind Audition from Cameron Wright. The singer’s unique cover of “The Way We Were” by Barbra Streisand turned all four coaches’ chairs almost immediately.

Singer Turns All Four Chairs in The Voice Early Release

Only a few seconds into Cameron’s performance, both Michael Bublé and Gwen Stefani hit their buttons to turn around in the hope of getting the singer on their team. After a few more notes, Snoop Dogg also turned around.

The last coach to turn was Reba McEntire, but it didn’t take her much longer than her co-stars. Cameron went on to finish the song, showing off an amazing range and a powerful stage presence that clearly impressed the coaches.

McEntire told Cameron that “The Way We Were” is one of her favorite songs, adding, “You sang the heck out of it.” Cameron shared that they’ve “been singing professionally since I was 5,” adding that their mom is a professional gospel singer.

What Did the Coaches Say About the Audition?

Stefani told Cameron that they “came in and sliced the air out of the room,” adding, “Not one moment wasn’t perfect, the way you sang that. It was insane. It’s so inspiring being around people like you that are just so gifted.”

Michael Bublé simply stated, “I love this show.” He told Cameron, “God gave you a light that pours out of you, and you can’t buy it, you can’t bottle it.” Bublé also predicted that Cameron would end up in the Finals, no matter whose team they chose.

Snoop Dogg also shared his pitch to get Cameron on his team, saying he thinks he has “a few things in my toolbox that I can give you to get you all the way over the hump.” We’ll have to wait until Monday’s new episode of the show on NBC to find out whose team Cameron chose to join.
