Gwen Stefani Hits Coach Replay Button on The Voice

During Monday’s show, 14-year-old Jaylen Dunham took the stage to sing “Listen” by Beyoncé. Unfortunately, Jaylen’s audition failed to turn any of the coaches’ chairs. Afterward, Gwen Stefani was shocked by how young Jaylen was, asking, “Was that you singing?”

Snoop Dogg said that when he couldn’t see Jaylen, he thought it was a woman singing. Stefani said she was “blown away” by Jaylen’s talent, but she could hear that he was getting more and more nervous as the song went on and no one turned around.

Stefani was so impressed by Jaylen that she decided to use the Coach Replay to change her mind about him and get him on her team this season. That means Jaylen will stay in the competition and move on to the Battles on Team Gwen.

Stefani previously won the show with a young male singer. In Season 19, her artist Carter Rubin won the show at just 15 years old. Could she do it again this season? We’ll have to wait and see.

Three Artists Received Four-Chair Turns

Monday’s show also featured three performances that earned four-chair turns from the coaches. That includes 21-year-old Georgia Starnes, who sang Sam Smith’s “Too Good at Goodbyes.” It took them a while, but the coaches eventually hit their buttons to turn around for her.

The coaches fought over Georgia, but she eventually chose to join Snoop Dogg’s team. Later in the show, 25-year-old Jeremy Beloate performed “Heartbreak Anniversary” by Giveon. Jeremy also turned all four coaches’ chairs with his performance, but he chose to join Michael Bublé’s team.

The final audition of the night came from 24-year-old Frankie Torres, who sang “Magic Man” by Heart. All four coaches wanted Frankie on their team. Reba McEntire was so desperate to win her over, she let her hold a winner’s trophy. The show even added some confetti to the moment. However, Frankie ultimately chose to join Gwen Stefani’s team.

The Voice Season 26 will return with another new episode of Blind Auditions on Tuesday night at 8/7c on NBC. What did you think of Monday’s episode? Who had your favorite performance? Let us know in the comments below.
