Gwen Stefani Talks About Blake Shelton’s Proposal
Gwen called Blake’s proposal “magical,” and said she wasn’t expecting it. “I gotta tell you, I was sort of like, ‘What’s happening with us?'” she admitted. “Like, it was kind of in my mind, like ‘We’ve been together a long time now. What’s going on?'”
The proposal happened during a family gathering in Oklahoma that almost didn’t happen, as the couple had argued about how to plan it during the pandemic. But they went through with it, and the pair ended up getting engaged.

Gwen joked about how messy Blake’s truck is, and shared that he hid the engagement ring in the door. “And you’re driving through trees and stuff, it could just fall out at any point!” she said. He then hid the ring in a cabinet for her to find.
“We have no plans because of the pandemic,” she said. “It’s like, Blake, why couldn’t you have done it before? Now we can’t have a wedding with the pandemic. We’re just sitting around going, ‘Okay, drag it out more.'”
Gwen Doesn’t Want A Pandemic Wedding
Gwen recently told Ryan Seacrest that she doesn’t want to have a wedding amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, because she wants her parents to be there without any worry.
“My parents wouldn’t come to Thanksgiving because they’re so scared so really would rather it not be a COVID situation,” Gwen said. “Like, I would rather not have masks and that kind of thing.”
