Since Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton got engaged in October there has been tons of speculation about when the two music superstars will be walking down the aisle. Gwen Stefani’s 3 Sons Will Be Involved In Wedding To Blake Shelton
Gwen shares three sons Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 6 with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. They are reportedly looking forward to their mom’s upcoming nuptials to one of country music’s biggest stars. “Gwen’s sons are really solid, sweet kids, and they’re so excited for Blake and Gwen to get married,” a friend close to the couple told People. They “will have a large part” in the wedding between the two ‘Voice’ coaches.
“From the beginning, Gwen made it clear to Blake that her boys were No. 1 in her life, and Blake always respected this,” a source close to Gwen added. The friend echoed that “He never wanted to overstep and made sure everyone was comfortable with his role in her sons’ lives.”

Blake has posed in several pictures with Gwen’s kids over the years to give a behind the scenes look at how he has taken on the role of becoming a second father figure to them. The family has attended movie premieres together, and all three of Gwen’s kids were present when Blake proposed. All of this led up to Gwen’s first big win as a coach on The Voice to top off the year.
“Gwen always gushed about how amazing Blake is with the boys,” the source continued. “She feels so lucky that he helps her raise them. His love and guidance is something that Gwen is beyond grateful for.”
Gwen’s Sons Were Also Involved In The Proposal
Before Blake popped the question to Gwen, he made sure to get permission from her sons and her father. “The only thing I had planned was that I knew I wanted to do it in Oklahoma while all her kids were there [and our siblings],” Blake said in an interview with Bobby Bones.
“I didn’t want to take her away or do something private away from the kids” he continued. “I felt like it was important for the kids to be a part of that moment, so that’s what I did.” Many sources assume the wedding will also take place in Oklahoma.
Blake and the boys talked through the entire proposal plan while they spent time at his Oklahoma ranch. Blake and Gwen previously spent their quarantine with both of their families there before returning to California to film The Voice.
The pair first made their relationship public in 2015. After five years of dating and fans waiting for this moment, they are finally engaged. We cannot wait for the wedding! Check out the What’s Hot Video below for a full relationship timeline.
