Simon Cowell and his co-judges on America’s Got Talent joined Kelly Clarkson on her talk show to discuss all things life in quarantine. When each of the judges were asked to hold up a valuable item they’ve treasured during the COVID-19 pandemic, Cowell read out an adorable Father’s Day letter from his son, Eric.

TV mogul, Simon Cowell spent most of his life dreading the idea of having a child. Now he’s happy as ever, aged 60 with his son, Eric and girlfriend, Lauren. The America’s Got Talent judge shared a touching letter he’d received from his son on Father’s Day whilst appearing on a segment with his co-judges on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
“This was given to me on Father’s Day and I’m going to read this to you because it was touching,” he told Clarkson and the judges on the video call.
“This is from Eric, my six-year-old boy, to me: ‘I like to waddle, you like to waddle. I like fish, and you like fish. You like to swim, and I like to swim. I like to walk in your footsteps standing tall like you. You have webbed feet, and I have webbed feet… and I will always love you, Eric.'”

Simon has shared previous stories of him and his son spending valuable time together during quarantine, which he claims is rare due to usual work demands. The ‘Got Talent’ judge mentioned just a few weeks ago that he has been camping in the garden and going on bike rides with the six-year-old, attempting to stay occupied during the pandemic.

Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Cowell has kept busy revealing that he’s working on two new talent show formats as well as finding new ways to shoot ‘Got Talent’ this year.
And, it seems America’s Got Talent filming is already back on track, with the judges posting behind the scenes pics on set this week. Cowell was seen in the social media images dressed in his classic black blazer, unbuttoned white suit, and blue jeans. Sofia in a yellow neon dress, Hedi dressed in a flowery blue and white two-piece and Mandel in an all-black suit with his usual white sneakers.

As for Britain’s Got Talent, which Simon also appears on, the show will return this Autumn for the live shows in what we can expect to be a totally new viewing experience.
