Piers Morgan Attempts To Reconcile With Simon Cowell In Heartfelt Tweet

Piers Morgan took to Twitter yesterday to commemorate the 14th anniversary of America’s Got Talent on-air and congratulating his ex-boss, Simon Cowell. The news anchor joined the very first panel on the show back in 2006 alongside David Hasselhoff and Brandy Norwood.
Piers Morgan’s Heartfelt Tweet To Simon Cowell
Former America’s Got Talent judge, Piers Morgan took to Twitter yesterday, marking the 14th anniversary since America’s Got Talent first hit screens.
The news anchor and TV personality wrote in a tweet: “On this day in 2006, America’s Got Talent launched on NBC & was as an instant No1 smash – spawning @BGT & a worldwide franchise for creator @SimonCowell. This was the first line-up: host Regis Philbin & judges @DavidHasselhoff @4everBrandy & me.”
Morgan was a no brainer for Cowell when choosing first America’s Got Talent lineup all those years ago, especially with all the experience Piers had on the British version of the show. The full-time news anchor on GMB stayed on for 6 seasons over in America before hosting his very own talk show on CNN from New York.

Is this the end of Piers’ fiery tweets towards his e-boss, Simon Cowell?
Piers is known for his outrageous tweets, hot-tempered debates and famous celebrity friendships. One person Morgan has consistently gone after over the years is indeed Simon Cowell, his ex-boss.
The Good Morning Britain host has made fun of Cowell’s ratings, his botox work over the years and so much more. Now, with Piers changing his stance on America’s Got Talent judge, it’s possible we could see the two getting along with each other more. We know, it’s a big ask!

Just a few months ago, Cowell reassured Good Morning Britain that he’d never have Piers back on the show, despite their hilarious memories together. The TV mogul did suggest, however, that he’d be happy to give Morgan a chance on an obscure Got Talent show in a far country such as Antarctica.
