‘The Voice’ Blinds Continue With More Awesomeness

We continue with the discovery portion of The Voice with more blind auditions. Much like Monday night’s show, we had some excellent talent show up. There was a nice variety of singers and Blake finally got some love after a rough couple of weeks not picking up many team members.
Spensha BakerÂ
Spensha did the Beatles classic Blackbird in a country soul style. As we all know, country soul is Blake’s bread an butter. So, naturally he turned around. So did Kelly. Kelly made her case but it is clear Spensha came to be on team Blake.
Alexa CappelliÂ
Alexa is one to watch. They put her out yesterday as a sneak peek and we here at the Talent Recap offices were blown away. She sang Kiki Dee’s I Got The Music In Me and is a rocker goddess in the making. Kelly and Adam turned around but Adam stood no chance. She wanted Kelly and that’s the best fit for her style.
WilkesÂ
What is it with singers this season with one name? Do they think they are Cher or Madonna? Any way Wilkes was good with his version of The Wallflowers One Headlight. Adam and Blake turned around and he chose Blake, which I think might be a mistake. He should have chosen Adam.
Jaron Strom
It’s always a risk to sing a classic like This Magic Moment but Jaron did a serviceable job. I don’t know how far he’s going to get but he’s definitely got a great voice. He chose team Blake.
Terrence Cunningham
He did The Temptation’s My Girl and knocked it out of the park. Plus he has a manbun to end all manbuns. This guy could go to the finals with his incredible voice with team Alicia.
JessLee, Jordyn Simone and Megan Lee
Then came the montage. JessLee sang Avril Lavigne’s I’m with You and got turns from Blake and Kelly but she chose Blake. Jordyn Simone sang Chris Stapleton’s Tennessee Whiskey and got on team Alicia. Megan Lee sings The Fugees’ Killing Me Softly with His Song and also ended up on team Alicia.
