Us The Duo Explores Electro Pop Remix With ANTELØPE
When introducing their first ever remix, AGT alums Michael and Carissa Alvarado gladly shared that they collaborated with DJ ANTELØPE for their song’s remix. For those who may not know, Us The Duo originally published their cover of the song to YouTube on August 26.
“In all the years of being a duo, we’ve never had a “remix” before…. until today!!,” they expressed on Instagram.
Evidently, their followers did not exactly see this remix happening. “Why are my musical worlds colliding right now. Mind blown,” says one in the comment section.
DJ ANTELØPE clearly gave a different taste of electropop to the track, not going away from Us The Duo’s original style. In Us The Duo’s YouTube channel, they described the remix as one that will “keep musicians intrigued and pop lovers dancing.”
Subsequently, their fans are delighted upon realizing that the remix could actually be a dance craze. They even regarded the song to be “pure art” and ” the collab we never knew we needed.”
The Duo Dedicates Their “Ghost” Version To Those They’ve Lost
Before the couple uploaded the remix, they released an intensely emotional song cover of Justin Bieber‘s “Ghost” on August 26. This cover moved their followers, claiming that they felt both love and sorrow upon listening to the song.
Performed and shot by themselves, “Ghost” cover is dedicated to the people they have lost, according to the duo. Consequently, they have successfully managed to catch the feels of the listeners even just by seconds of the preview.
What Are They Up To Now?
Years after America’s Got Talent Season 13, Us The Duo is undeniably still in love and happy. This AGT fan favorite duo has lately been covering music of their liking. Recently, they recorded “As It Was” by Harry Styles which cutely featured their daughter, Xyla.
Last year, the Us The Duo opened up about revamping old songs and creating new music. As seen today, the couple has made some progress. Last April, they dropped their original single, “Nothing Can Stop Us” to streaming.
Furthermore, they also released a Disney-inspired EP last July called Home Is Where The Dreams Are, where they made a recording of popular Disney songs. Meanwhile, to keep fans updated, they upload vlog contents on their YouTube channel.
Fans are currently anticipating another EP, which the duo deems to be a celebration of their 10 years of music, marriage, making videos, and connecting with their fans.
