Before performing his song “Believe You Will,” Rosado talked to Clarkson about what the song means to him. He opened up about adopting his niece when he was 21 years old, and the difficulties that came along with that.
“I love my sister, but she’s had a struggle that’s never allowed her to be the mom she needed to be,” Rosado explained. He added that he’s spoken to God to say, “I need you to show up. I need you to do what you promised you would do.”
Rosado got emotional as he spoke, and Clarkson also began to tear up. The singer said he’s “living in the goodness of God.” His song “Believe You Will” is about his faith that God will show up for him.
“You’ll do this. And you have before, God, you’ve proven to me that I’m not actually alone in this,” Rosado said. He added that he wants to put out music that “allows people to connect” and to “draw from those complicated and hard situations, pull hope out of them.”

Rosado Released the Song Last Year
Last year, Rosado signed a record deal with Capitol Christian Music Group. At the time, he shared that “all of my favorite Christian artists are signed to this label.” In October, he released his first new single with the label, titled “Believe You Will.”
As Rosado sings on the track, “You will / Turn this into something good / Show up right on time for me / Do everything you said you would / I believe I believe I believe you will.”
Rosado toured with Christian rock band Newsboys last year, and he announced earlier this week that he’s going on tour with them again in the spring, with the first date on February 16 in Sacramento, California. Rosado wrote, “I’m honestly living a dream, God is so good! See you on the road!”
