“I’ve fought, prayed, cried, believed, sacrificed, gave up, tried again for the past 10 years for a chance to be a full time Recording Artist and the time has finally come!!! Can’t believe this tbh!” Jeremy wrote on an Instagram post announcing the news.
He thanked his family, his management team, his lawyer, and even The Voice coaches Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande for “speaking so much into me in this season, giving me tips, advice, coaching me thru this process of meeting with Labels and supporting me!”
Jeremy also posted an Instagram video sharing his excitement about the record deal, saying that “all of my favorite Christian artists are signed to this label.” He called it a “dream come true.”
During Season 21, Jeremy competed on Team Kelly, performing such songs as “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars and “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion. He ended up making it to the Top 10 before being eliminated.
Jeremy Is Going on Tour Soon
The record deal isn’t the only big news Jeremy has shared lately. Last week, he announced that he would be going on tour with the Christian rock band Newsboys later this year. Jeremy is a special guest on the tour, alongside Cochren & Co. and Adam Agee.
The Stand Together Tour kicks off October 6 in Champaign, Illinois, with more dates through the rest of the month. Tickets for the tour are on sale August 9.
Jeremy wrote on Instagram that he would be “performing brand new songs, including my first single releasing soon.” We can’t wait to hear what the singer has up his sleeve moving forward.
