“Dust in the Wind” is currently making a name for Team Kelly’s sibling band Girl Named Tom on the iTunes charts in both the United States and Canada. This song was released two days ago and currently sits at No. 13 on the U.S. charts and No. 33 on the Canadian charts. The Voice group is currently sitting underneath “One Right Now” by Post Malone and the Weeknd on the U.S. charts.
Girl Named Tom is a Force to be Reckoned With on The Voice
This family trio is officially a part of the Top 11 this season. I don’t think anyone was surprised that the trio was continuing on in the competition. It’s quite obvious now that America (and Canada) loves them. They’ve been front- runners since the world first heard their amazing harmonization. This trio earned the biggest honor of all, a four chair turn.
They really might be the first group to ever win the show. They were great when they started this show, but on Team Kelly they’ve gotten even better.
Right now, the iTunes charts are filled with music from Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Adele. I think Girl Named Tom could make it higher than No. 13, even with those superstars on the list. Their song is getting so much traction it’s no surprise they have people voting for them on the show.
I don’t think it’s a mistake that The Voice has been showing Girl Named Tom as the first artist saved in each result show. At this rate, this definitely won’t be the last week they’re announced as saved by America first.
The competition is far from over, but I’m sure this trio will continue to put up their fight. If I had to guess, I’d say the upcoming week of the series will have the highest viewership yet. Their song is quite literally blowing up on the charts right now, so I’m sure The Voice is about to have some new fans.
This was an incredible performance!
