Adam Levine on 'The Voice' 2026

The Voice Battle of Champions returned to NBC for the second set of Blind Auditions on Monday, March 2. In case you missed it, this season, coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Adam Levine are battling it out to get the most Triple-Chair turns. The coach that gets the most Triple-Chair turns will earn a steal down the line.

Team Kelly Earns EVEN MORE Artists!

The first singer of the night was 25 year old JW Griffin. He performed a classic rendition of “Long Haired Country Boy” by The Charlie Daniels Band. He turned the chairs of Clarkson, then Legend, and finally Levine. When discussing his voice, all three coaches shared that they were especially excited for country singers on this season, since Blake Shelton isn’t there. JW ultimately decided to join Team Kelly, bringing her Triple-Chair turn count up to two singers.

The next singer was 32 year old Tia Durant, who sang “Midnight Train to Georgia” by Gladys Knight & The Pips. Tia got through the majority of the song before both Clarkson and Levine turned their chairs for her. Winning the pick of the artist once again was Clarkson, who only has three remaining spots on her team.

Up next was Kendra Remedios who sang “Girl Crush” by Little Big Town. She turned the chair of Legend, joining his team by default. Clarkson was immediately disappointed when she heard the 31 year old was from Texas. Regardless, Legend said he couldn’t help but turn once he heard her raspy voice.

Also featured in this episode was Staten Island native, Nicolette Capua who sang “you broke me first” by Billie EIlish. She unfortunately did not earn any chair turns. Chezzarai also auditioned on this episode, singing “I’m Every Woman” by Chaka Khan. Unfortunately, she did not turn the chairs of the coaches.

Early Release Singer Joins Team Legend

Fans who are tuned into everything The Voice were able to see Mike Steele’s audition ahead of this episode. Finally, fans know that he joined Team Legend.

Following Mike was 17 year old Bijou Belle, who sang Billie Eilish’s “Wildflower.” She only turned the chair of Adam Levine, joining his team by default. Following was Jaali Boyd, who sang “No Air” by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown. Both Clarkson and Levine turned, but ultimately, Jaali decided to join Team Adam.

The next singer was former girl group singer Blaire Elbert. She sang “Wide Rollin’ Plains” by Rosalie Allen and turned the chair of Clarkson. By default she joined Team Kelly. After her was Adi Arora who sang “It Will Rain” by Bruno Mars. Legend was the first to turn, followed by Clarkson. The college acapella singer ultimately chose to join Team Legend.

One of the last singers of the episode was Moses G, who sang “Forever Young” by Rod Stewart. The R&B, gospel, and rock ‘n roll singer turned the chair of Adam Levine. He has now joined Team Adam by default.

The final singer of the night was country singer Hunter Jordan. He sang “Let me Down Easy” by Billy Currington, which turned the chairs of Levine, Legend, and Clarkson. Levine and Legend were determined to get Hunter to join one of their teams, immediately saying “today is the day” to beat Clarkson. After hearing the coaches out, Hunter decided to join Team Adam.

As this episode wraps up, Clarkson has 2 remaining spots on her team, Legend has 5 remaining spots on his team, and Levine has three remaining spots on his team. The Voice returns on Monday, March 9.
