‘The Voice’ Winners Jordan Smith and Todd Tilgman Embark on Tour Together
Season 18 of The Voice was forced to go virtual at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Todd has never really gotten his chance in the spotlight or the glory to be crowned the winner on The Voice stage. This tour is a step in the right direction to get his feet off the ground as an artist.
He did release his first studio single, “In A Heartache” this year and received a special shoutout on Twitter from his coach Blake Shelton. The pastor from Mississippi has been posting covers and original songs on YouTube since winning The Voice. Jordan on the other hand has already found mainstream fame since winning the show.
Jordan’s 2016 debut album, Something Beautiful, landed at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. This led to the biggest debut for an artist in The Voice history. He also penned the hit “Ashes” that Celine Dion performed in Deadpool 2. For a show that does not produce many superstars, Jordan’s name is always mentioned as one of the most successful artists from The Voice.
Jordan and Todd posed for a photo together during their first tour date. Jordan will be performing songs from his new EP, Be Still and Know. The title track is an inspiring worship anthem intended to help people through their darkest days. Tour dates are scheduled through the end of October. Tickets are free to see these two winners of The Voice take the stage.
