The Voice Season 13 runner-up Addison Agen recently shared a performance of a new original song called “Won’t.” The singer sounds great as she strums an acoustic guitar for an emotional rendition of the track.
The Voice‘s Addison Agen Shares ‘Won’t’ Performance
Agen’s new performance is part of a YouTube series called OneSessions, which is described as, “One artist. One song. One mic. One light. One camera. New music discovery.” The singer sits against a red backdrop for the video.
“My body aches, feel it in my chest / When I’m awake, and through the night in my rest,” Agen sings to open the song. “And I miss you all over / And everything in me just wants to call you home / But I won’t.”
The singer shows off the voice that carried her to second place in Season 13 of The Voice in 2017. Agen started off on Miley Cyrus’ team before being stolen by Adam Levine in the Battles. She made it all the way to the Finals, where she finished behind winner Chloe Kohanksi.

What Has Agen Been Up to Since the Show?
Agen released her debut full-length album When the Morning Comes in 2021, which she described as “a collection of my ideas and my heart and my sound.” She followed that up with a summer tour around several states.
According to the singer’s website, she’s shared the stage with artists including Bob Seger, Gordon Lightfoot, and Kevin Bacon’s band The Bacon Brothers. She has shows coming up later this month in Tennessee and Michigan, which she shared on her Instagram.
Agen’s most recent streaming release is a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” sung as a duet with Jonah Baker. Hopefully, the new video of her singing “Won’t” is a sign that she has more music coming out later this year.
