The Voice returned to NBC tonight with the second half of the show’s Season 28 premiere. Fans were able to see the first ever Carson Callback moment in action during this episode.

The first singer of the episode was Yoshihanaa, who sang “Nobody’s Supposed to be Here” by Deborah Cox. Snoop Dogg was the first coach to turn, followed by Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire. The coaches complimented the singer’s ability, asking if she already had released music. Of the three, Yoshihanaa picked Snoop Dogg’s team.

Carson Callback Singer Earns Chair Turn

The second singer of the episode was Lucas Beltran singing “You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine” by Lou Rawls. Only two coaches turned for Lucas, BublĂ© and McEntire. Horan admitted that he didn’t turn his chair because he knew BublĂ© would turn. Lucas chose to join BublĂ©’s team.

Then, as the third act of the night, Carson Callback recipient Ryan Mitchell returned, singing a rendition of “…Baby One More Time” by Britney Spears. The singer portrayed a slower, lower register, version of the pop song. The first and only coach to turn for Ryan was McEntire. By default, Ryan joined Team Reba.

Horan fangirl, Carolina Rodriguez took the stage singing “Cardigan” by Taylor Swift. Horan was the first coach to turn for her, followed by Snoop Dogg. Even though Snoop Dogg tried to get Carolina to join his team, it was clear that Horan was going to be her coach, since she brought a one direction poster to her audition.

Singer Doesn’t Turn Any Chairs, Proposes to Girlfriend

Firefighter Jacob Bryan Gustafson came to the stage singing “Spin You Around” by Morgan Wallen. Although the coaches didn’t turn for Jacob, he brought his girlfriend on stage and proposed to her.

The final blind audition of the night was Max Cooper II singing “Cooler Than Me” by Mike Posner. Snoop Dogg was the first to turn, followed by McEntire, Horan, and finally BublĂ©. While getting to know the singer, he revealed that one of BublĂ©’s hits was one of the first songs he ever covered. Obviously, Max chose to join BublĂ©’s team.
