The Jonas Brothers have made the tough decision to reschedule their upcoming shows due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. They informed fans of the rescheduling via Instagram on Feb 11. Within the caption of the post, they shared that the rescheduling is due to the increase in COVID-19 numbers.
Tickets from the original dates are honored for new show dates. There has not yet been information provided about refunds at this time. The brothers ended off their caption expressing how much they love their fans and hope that they all will stay healthy during this time.
This isn’t the first time The Jonas Brothers have cancelled an appearance due to Covid-19. In December, they had to withdraw from the iHeartRadio Power 96.1 Jingle Ball after attending the majority of the tour. They withdrew from the performance after a crew member tested positive for Covid-19. The Jonas Brothers didn’t share their test status at the time.
Throughout the ongoing pandemic, The Jonas Brothers have cautiously continued to tour. Their original Remember This Tour had dates specific to the summertime and were all in outdoor venues. Even though the venues were all outdoors, the band still required proof of vaccination or a negative test result from audience members.
They’ve been a group that has been extremely cautious of the virus, so it’s no surprise that they’ve decided to move their four upcoming tour dates. Fans are unable to reply to the band’s posts, but a lot are speculating that the change in dates also has to do with the birth of Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s first child.
