The Four:Battle for Stardom winner, Evvie McKinney performed her single How Do You Feel Friday on Good Day LA. Let’s just say the Memphis native came to slay these vocals!

Prior to the performance the soulful singer eagerly tweeted her excitement about performing on the show. “I can’t wait to perform my new single, How Do You Feel tomorrow on @foxla AND pay tribute to one of my BIGGEST inspirations, Queen Aretha Franklin! LA, tune in tomorrow morning and get this good dose of soul.”

Evvie’s Good Day LA debut took place on the day of The Queen of Souls memorial service.Fans shared Evvie’s excitement post performance, giving credit where credit was due. However, some fans are still divided and don’t necessarily believe this is the hit song that music mogul, Diddy promised. On YouTube Evvie’s Good Day LA performance has raked in just shy of 5k views. Superstar quality? We’re still on the fence.

The reporter may have put the emphasis on the wrong syllable when introducing The 20 year old superstar, but that didn’t stop her from bringing the house down. Check out Evvie’s performance below.

Some viewers of The Four are still in disagreement over who should’ve won the title and made history as the very first winner of The Battle For Stardom saga. We’re not into comparing artists, but Zhavia was obviously a top contender for the title, and has made serious career strides since the show ended.

There are definitely more career moves that need to be made to ensure Evvie’s success. The thing about new artists is that they’re still trying to pin point their exact sound, and we don’t necessarily know if Evvie has found her voice just yet.

What do you guys think? Will you be waiting to purchase Evvie’s EP?
