Terry Crews vs. Chance The Rapper On Kanye For President — Who Got The Last Word?

Chance The Rapper was showing Kanye West’s presidential campaign some love on Twitter but not before a reply from America’s Got Talent host Terry Crews caught his attention. Terry has been causing quite a stir lately after his tweet about “black supremacy” during the Black Lives Matter movement led people to question his intentions.
Chance The Rapper Was Not Happy About Gaining Support From Terry Crews
Chance was surprised to find his name trending on Twitter after a slew of tweets pledged his support for Kanye and his presidential bid. He retweeted a video tribute that Kanye made for his late mother’s birthday and encouraged people to vote for the rapper in the upcoming 2020 election. He continued to tweet about why he is supporting Kanye as well as touching on the ongoing conversation about police brutality. One twitter user asked Chance “Is @terrycrews tweeting for you?” This prompted Terry to respond to the tweet himself. “Nah, @chancetherapper is just doing the math and seeing a lot of things that don’t add up. This is what happens when you think for yourself” Terry said. This led Chance to reply “F*CK.”
“I am for black liberation and do not accept my recent endorsement from Terry Crews” Chance later tweeted. He was noticeably distancing himself from Terry and was not welcoming of his support. Terry has been doubling down on his “black supremacy” tweets on a number of talk shows saying that he has no regrets and is voicing his opinions after George Floyd’s death sparked global outrage and influenced Black Lives Matter protests all over the world. Terry also made it known that he didn’t want #blacklivesmatter to turn into #blacklivesbetter in a tweet that also stirred up some controversy.

Terry Later Deleted His Tweet After Backlash From Chance
The America’s Got Talent host was not oblivious to Chance’s resentment. Instead, he deleted his tweet.
Terry also wanted to make it clear that he “never endorsed” Chance and his believes about Kanye’s campaign.
But fans of both stars on Twitter took this interaction and began running with it. One Twitter user said, “Lmaooo Chance the Rapper saw Terry Crews was on his side and immediately heard a record scratch.”
“Chance almost got in an entanglement with Terry Crews & decided to change his whole outlook,” said another. This is a play on the use of the word “entanglement” by Jada Pinkett Smith after admitting she had an affair with singer August Alsina. Millions of memes and tweets have been created since then, so, did Chance get himself in an “entanglement?”
Leave it to Twitter to compare the Will and Jada situation to the Terry and Chance situation.
