Talent Show Judges Nick Jonas & Rosario Dawson To Star In Unique New TV Experience
Apple TV+ just announced the star-studded cast of a new television experience, unlike anything we have ever seen before. Celebrities that have done voiceovers for the new show Calls include two familiar faces in the talent show world, Rosario Dawson and Nick Jonas. Check out the trailer below.
Nick Jonas And Rosario Dawson Set To Star In New Thriller Show
The show is actually all just a series of 12-minute audio recordings and graphics to tell chilling stories. The short episodes follow the format of a phone call. The phone calls featured in the show are designed to heighten your senses and will probably leave you feeling thrilled and in shock. This means all of the talented actors cast in this nine-episode series really had to focus on their voice acting.
A trailer to the show just dropped and it seems like the perfect show for horror film lovers or those seeking a thrill. Rosario who currently is a judge on Go Big Show has had an extremely successful acting career starting in the mid-’90s. She had breakout roles in movies like Rent and Sin City and has already become a fan-favorite talent show judge.
Nick has also shown off his acting chops in recent years. The Voice coach married to actress Priyanka Chopra has appeared in films like the reboot of Jumanji and its sequel and the war film Midway. In between creating music with the iconic Jonas Brothers, Nick also served as the executive producer of the Netflix series Dash & Lily.
Nick is reportedly set to make a cameo in Priyanka’s next film Text For You which they were spotted shooting in London recently. Who Else Will Be Featured In This New Series?
Along with Nick and Rosario, other actors featured in the series include Nicholas Braun, Clancy Brown, Lily Collins, Mark Duplass, Karen Gillan, Judy Greer, Laura Harrier, Paul Walter Hauser, Danny Huston, Riley Keough, Joey King, Stephen Lang, Jaeden Martell, Paola Nuñez, Pedro Pascal, Edi Patterson, Aubrey Plaza, Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Jennifer Tilly.
Calls is based on a similar series on Canal Plus French. This Apple version was announced back in 2018 and has finally come to fruition after years in the making. Fans of all of the talented actors featured in this project are buzzing. “This looks good! I’ve been waiting for it!” wrote one person in the comments section on Apple TV’s Instagram. “This sooo interesting I am soo excited,” wrote another. Others complimented the casting choices.
