Super Bowl Ad: Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Fell In Love Based On a Mistake By Adam Levine

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani may have a picture-perfect relationship in real life. But a T-Mobile phone commercial that played during the Super Bowl parodied how they really met. Former ‘Voice’ coach Adam Levine plays cupid in this video that you absolutely need to see to believe. It definitely proves that opposites attract.
Adam Levine Sets Up Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani In New Commerical
“I think I’m ready to start dating again,” Gwen told Adam with a smile during a FaceTime call that occurred years ago. Adam asked Gwen what qualities she is looking for in a partner. “I’m sick of L.A. guys,” she tells him. “I want someone completely different, maybe from another country. And someone cultured and sensitive and who’s not threatened by a strong, confident woman.” But Adam could only hear bits and pieces of what Gwen was saying due to a spotty phone connection. Adam thought that Gwen said she wants someone “completely country and uncultured.”

At that point in the commercial, Blake walks up to the table Adam is sitting at. He is holding a plate of wings and a plate of nachos. “I have your guy,” Adam says through laughter. The commercial then flashes forward to Blake and Gwen meeting in a restaurant. Gwen is wearing one of her usual edgy rocker outfits while Blake went for a more rustic country feel with cowboy boots with spurs on them. “Are you wearing spurs? Did you ride a horse here?” Gwen asks Blake sincerely. Of course, Blake answered “yes” and even offered her a ride on his horse.
This commercial is seriously hilarious because Blake and Gwen are happily engaged in real life. The couple has always addressed the fact that they are opposites that were first attracted to each other when they met on The Voice. The Couple Are Proof That Opposites Attract
During an episode of The Voice in 2019, Gwen explained how opposites attract. She was speaking about two artists in the competition who were polar opposites but produced an amazing duet during The Battle Rounds. “It’s like me and Blake. We do not seem like we would be together, but yet we go together perfectly. It’s like this weird contrast” she said.
Blake is always talking about his Oklahoma roots and dressing the part of a cowboy while Gwen grew up in California. She has been the founder of her very successful L.A.M.B fashion line for over 15 years. Gwen has also maintained a healthy vegetarian diet and is very health conscious. Blake is more of a camouflage wearing, beer drinking life of the party.
