When Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton announced their engagement back in October, fans were begging to get a closer look at her diamond ring. Finally, we have the close-up photos everyone has been waiting for of the gorgeous sparkler after she appeared on the show Home & Family.
How Much Did Gwen Stefani’s Engagement Ring Cost?
Gwen wore a white one-shoulder top with bow detailing and her signature pulled back hairstyle. The first-time ‘Voice’ winner smiled from ear to ear as her massive rock was on full display. The ring looks to be a square-shaped diamond with two smaller diamonds on each side. The band looks to be white gold or platinum. It is estimated that the ring is between six to eight carats.
Blake is believed to have spent around $500,000 on the gorgeous ring. “We’re looking at a gorgeous eight-carat, radiant-shape diamond with trapezoid sides — an Art Deco look,” Ajay Anand, the founder of Rare Carat told Insider. “We’re talking $500,000 in all, as the center stone is an icy white D-to-F color diamond.”

The pair quarantined together with their families at Blake’s ranch in Oklahoma when the coronavirus pandemic first swept across the United States. They planned another trip back to Oklahoma but Gwen said that it got pretty overwhelming to the point that she almost wanted to cancel the trip. Little did she know, Blake was planning on popping the question.
“I walked in and my son was like sitting right by this fireplace and Blake was basically getting down on his knees to do a fire and he goes ‘hey can you look in that cabinet over there and get me a firestarter’ so I open the cabinet and there was a ring in a box,” she said on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Gwen Was Surprised By The Proposal
The proposal was actually a bit unexpected for Gwen. “I gotta tell you, I was sort of like, ‘What’s happening with us?'” she said on The Tonight Show. “Like, it was kind of in my mind, like ‘We’ve been together a long time now. What’s going on?'”
Blake and Gwen first bonded when they met on the set of The Voice. After going through their own divorces, they began dating in 2015. We talk about their full relationship timeline in the What’s Hot Video below including when engagement rumors first started swirling.
Gwen previously opened up about the difficulties of planning a wedding amid the pandemic because she does not want to have any restrictions placed upon the big day.

Instead, she told Ryan Seacrest that the couple wants to wait to ensure that they can have their families there safely.
