Gwen Stefani Calls Blake Shelton A ‘Miracle’ In Her Life After ‘Devastation’

Gwen Stefani took the time to gush about her fiancé Blake Shelton during an appearance on Today Thursday morning. The Voice coach described him as a “blessing” and “miracle” after a difficult time in her life.
Gwen and Blake got engaged last October after five years of dating. They haven’t been able to do much wedding planning because of the current pandemic. Read on to find out what Gwen had to say about their relationship.

“What don’t I love about Blake? And what don’t we all love about Blake?” Gwen said when Carson Daly brought up their romance. “He’s just such a good guy. He’s one of the most generous human beings and down to earth. It all sounds generic but it’s just so true.”

Gwen complimented Blake’s talent, and called him her “best friend.” She added, “I feel so excited that I have someone in my life that now I have a chance at happiness. For a long time to come. It’s just a blessing, the whole thing. It’s a miracle.”
Gwen also alluded to her past divorce from ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, which happened around the time Blake split from his ex-wife Miranda Lambert.
“You just don’t see things that are right around the corner after such, like, devastation,” Gwen said. Although they “always talked” about getting married, she added that they had “a lot of healing to do.”

Gwen also talked to Today about her new music. She discussed the music video for her song “Let Me Reintroduce Myself,” in which she recreates some iconic looks from her past.

The star said it was “surreal.” She added that the costumes were not originals, as those were being displayed for her Las Vegas residency. “They looked quite like if I put them on, they might shred,” she said.
Gwen said her album would be coming out “soon,” adding, “I have all the songs. I wrote a song yesterday. I’m still writing. I’m gonna write a song tomorrow. And then I’m just gonna edit, and try to get the best of the best.”
