Sofia Vergara further proved why she’s the queen on Throwback Thursday on Instagram this week. The actress and AGT judge posted a video from a sexy photo shoot in the ’90s.

Sofia Vergara Posts Bikini Throwback
In the clip Sofia posted, she’s wearing a black bikini on the beach next to two horses. She sticks her tongue out near one horse’s face and then laughs. According to Sofia’s caption, the video is from the Dominican Republic in the ’90s.
According to the Daily Mail, Sofia put the song “Hasta El Amanecer” by Nicky Jam over the clip. Sofia’s followers were definitely fans of the throwback video, commenting on how good she looked with blonde hair.

Many people don’t know this, but Sofia Vergara is actually a natural blonde. She started dyeing her hair darker in the hope of getting more roles in Hollywood.
“When I started auditioning for American acting roles, they didn’t know where to put me,” Sofia told Parade. “A blond Latina? In L.A. they’re used to Latin women looking more Mexican. But if you go to Uruguay, Argentina, Colombia, everybody is blond.”
Sofia’s History As A Model
Sofia Vergara was discovered in her home country of Colombia when she was 17 years old. After getting permission from her Catholic school teachers, Sofia starred in a Pepsi commercial.

The 48-year-old regularly posts throwback photos and videos from her modeling days in the ’90s and early 2000s. Many of the photos feature the actress in a bikini, posing on a beach.
She apparently passed the modeling gene to her song Manolo, who is 29 years old. Manolo first modeled with his mother in a magazine photo in the ’90s. He later appeared in a shoot for Paper magazine in 2014.
