Reba McEntire Steals The Show From Fellow Coaches in Newest ‘The Voice’ Promo

The Voice has recently released it newest promo, and it’s clear who may possibly serve as the biggest threat in the competition. As Reba McEntire gears up for her first season as coach, she’s letting other coaches know that she’s not one to be underestimated.
Reba McEntire Steals the Show in Newest The Voice Promo
Posted last week, the show’s new promo gives a glimpse of how competitive McEntire would be in the upcoming season. The one-minute teaser kicks off backstage with coaches John Legend, Niall Horan, and Gwen Stefani. While Horan was cutting into a sheet cake, Legend congratulates him for winning season 23.
“Thank you. It’s good to be king,” Horan replied.
Stefani then pitched in, stating that the former One Direction member must not get too confident, as the a “whole new ballgame” this time.
“And I know we all miss the cowboy — especially you,” Legend told Stefani, referring to her husband and longtime veteran coach Blake Shelton. “But now that he’s gone, we might have a shot at the best country singers.”
Seconds after, the lights began glitching and McEntire’s music started playing through the speakers. Subsequently, the doors slid open to reveal a confident McEntire onstage with the words “TEAM REBA” in the background.
The “I’m a Survivor” singer then magically unzips her black ensemble to show herself in bedazzled outfit. The camera then showed The Voice host Carson Daly, who looked amused while eating a piece of cake.
“Oh, wow. This is going to be good,” Daly said.
The clip ended with Horan speaking into his phone and saying, “I’m going to need some tearaway pants, and make them sparkly.”
In May, the show announced that McEntire would be joining The Voice cast to sit in the red chair. Ahead of his news, the country superstar served as a mega mentor in season 23. Now, McEntire is getting everything ready to snatch her first ever win on the show.
She Takes Fans Behind the Curtains of the Promo Shoot
Amid the upcoming premiere of The Voice, McEntire is showering fans with raw behind-the-scene clips. The country singer took to Instagram to show what happens backstage during their promo shoot.
“Okay, so we’re at my very first promo shoot of The Voice, and we’re gonna be backstage showing you a little bit of what goes on to do a promo shoot,” she said.
McEntire brought fans along as she gets her makeup done for the shoot, until she flashes her smile in front of the camera. She also showed a snippet of her black tearaway cape, that vanished to reveal her shimmering ensemble.
The shoot concluded with all the four coaches posing for the promo shots alongside one another. Chosen photos will be the ones features in television advertisements and billboards across Los Angeles.
“This promo shoot has been really a lot of fun. Talented people. And we’re gonna have our faces on billboards around L.A. So it’s gonna be fun. I’m excited,” she said.
