As The Voice season 24 nears its premiere, fans are buckling for a brand-new show. The NBC series has recently released a new promotional video, welcoming Reba McEntire as the “new queen in the building.”

Reba McEntire Roasts Gwen Stefani in New The Voice Season 24 Promo Video

McEntire dropped the latest The Voice promotional video on her Instagram, giving fans a snippet of season 24. The country music legend is replacing former veteran coach Blake Shelton in the upcoming season.

“Hear ye, hear ye! I’ve taken the throne as the newest coach for Season 24 of #TheVoice! Don’t miss the premiere September 25th & 26th on @peacock to catch all the magic. @nbcthevoice #QueenReba,” the caption of the post read.

In the video, McEntire is highlighted as the newly hailed queen. The footage shows the country star interacting with fellow coaches Niall Horan, John Legend and Gwen Stefani in a thrilling fashion. There, Stefani quipped about her recent musical achievements.

“I’ve had two country hits,” Stefani said, referencing her songs with Blake Shelton, “Nobody But You” and “Happy Anywhere.”

“I’ve had more than two,” McEntire responded.

For those who may not know, McEntire obtained a total of 60 hits on the Billboard Music Charts. These milestones, along with the many others, are the reasons why she is hailed as the Queen of Country.

The upcoming season of The Voice will be the first time that fans will be watching a Shelton-free show. Thus, as McEntire graces the series as a coach, it’s fair to say that season 24 a new era to look forward to.

Fans are Excited to Watch the Country Queen as Coach

In the comments, fans are clearly thrilled to see McEntire as the newest addition to the coaching panel. One fan particularly mentioned that The Voice did not fail in choosing Shelton’s best replacement.

“I never thought I’d see the perfect replacement for Blake…then again I never thought Reba would do this…so yes, the queen has entered the building and no better person to judge country artists!!” one fan wrote.

“I will watch now the Reba is on it. She’s funny like Blake was on the show!!” another person commented.

We’re definitely anticipating a dynamic set of contestants this year, given the variety of coaches that season 24 has. While Shelton’s stint is over, fans still hope that The Voice will be a comic, tasteful, and amazing as it was.

The Voice season 24 will kick off on Monday, September 25, on NBC. It will be airing Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.
