The Masked Singer host Nick Cannon was recently a guest on the podcast Howie Mandel Does Stuff. The former America’s Got Talent co-stars discussed a variety of topics, including Cannon’s many children. At one point, Cannon joked that he has “super sperm.”
Nick Cannon Tells Howie Mandel He Has ‘Super Sperm’
At the start of the interview, Mandel asked Cannon if he’s done having kids, to which Cannon responded, “I guess… yeah? I don’t wanna say yeah, and then, like, you know, it’s the reproductive system… it could happen at any time.”
That answer might make you wonder if Cannon and his partners are using birth control. That’s what Mandel ended up asking Cannon outright at the very end of the interview. The star had an interesting response.
“I’m gonna be honest, some of the… I got some super sperm or something, ’cause I’ve practiced birth control, and people still got pregnant,” Cannon shared, adding, “I’m trying to be as responsible as I possibly can, learning lessons…”
However, Cannon did confirm that “as of right now,” he’s not expecting any children, adding, “I’m good with my dozen.”
It might surprise you, but Cannon shared that dating is difficult for him, saying he would rather spend time with his kids than “getting to know this stranger.” He said he hasn’t “met any new people in my life in years.”
“To actually build real rapport, you need time. And that’s something that I feel like I don’t have, because that’s time I should be either focusing on work or focusing on my kids,” Cannon said, adding that the last time he went on a date was “a year or two ago.”
Cannon also shared that he’s “very meticulous with the type of people that I deal with,” explaining that he and the mothers of his children “were all legitimate friends first.”
