Nick Cannon Reflects on Having 12 Kids
Cannon, who has been in the entertainment industry for over two decades, is no stranger to the spotlight. It’s no different when it comes to his family, he prefers to keep things out in the open on matters concerning his growing brood. However, in a recent interview, he revealed some details about his experience as a father to 12 children, including the challenges and rewards that come with it.
“I’ve been rocking for over a decade now. I think it’s just one of those things. It’s just a learning experience every day,” Cannon said.
Cannon welcomed his most recent child on December 2022, a daughter he had with model Alyssa Scott named Halo Marie Cannon. He’s currently been adjusting to life with a new baby while also raising his other 11 children. He says that it’s important to make time for each of his kids, even if it means sacrificing some of his own personal time.
To support his 12 children, Cannon maintains a successful career in the entertainment industry. He hosts several TV shows, including The Masked Singer, Wild ‘N Out, and formerly America’s Got Talent. Despite his busy schedule, he says that his family always comes first.
Nick Cannon’s Partners Praise His Parenting Style
Cannon’s partners have spoken out about his parenting approach and how he raises his children. Despite his busy career, Cannon has been praised by his partners for his hands-on and involved parenting style.
Mariah Carey, the singer and Cannon’s ex-wife, has previously praised him for being an excellent father to their twins, Moroccan and Monroe. Similarly, Brittany Bell has also spoken out about his parenting style. Bell and Cannon have three children together, sons Golden and Rise Messiah, and a daughter named Powerful.
In addition to his parenting skills, Cannon has also been praised for his willingness to co-parent and work with his partners for the sake of their children. He also expressed his belief in being a “hands-on,” parent, saying that he wants to be there for every milestone and teach his children important life lessons.
He needs to stop having babies with so many different baby moma’s. How does he think that’s going to jive with the children as they mature. He really needs to mature, perhaps marry the next 1 before presenting us with a new baby. And since I am #12 in my family, I’d say he needs no more. Just my opinion.

I think it’s shameful. Idc how much money you have you can’t spend quality time with and be there for that many children. Pathetic. Including the women who bear his children, continuing to refuse birth control with dollar signs in their uterus. Pathetic.
