Meet ‘AGT’s World Champion Music Ensemble, Pulse Percussion

Another powerhouse act is set to grace the America’s Got Talent stage this week. Youth band Pulse Percussion is joining the pool of talented contestants on the show, making the competition tougher than it was in weeks prior.
Pulse Percussion is a Champion Drumline
A youth-arts organization devoted to hone kids’ musical talent, Pulse Percussion is an in-demand drumline. Their group provides “the highest level of performance” through multiple musical channels including competitive indoor percussion ensembles. Interestingly, the team has not only proven itself in the local arena but in the international arena as well.
This year, Pulse Percussion brought their A game at the competition hosted by Winter Guard International Sport of the Arts. For the Championship Finals, the youth musical group snatched the gold, bringing a back-to-back win under their belt.
“For the first time in our 18 season history Pulse has won back-to-back to gold at WGI Championships with a final score of 98.513,” their official website reads.
During the competition, Pulse Percussion performed the classic U2 song “Where the Streets Have No Names.” Through beats, the musical group played the “feeling of wanting to break out” of a city where streets are unidentified.Â
They’re Auditioning on America’s Got Talent 2023
In early April, Pulse Percussion announced that they auditioned on America’s Got Talent season 18. The team excitedly declared the news alongside a group photo taken at the AGT stage. The youth ensemble’s latest update was even enthusiastic, with the group announcing that their audition is set to air this week.
“After months of waiting, we are very excited to share with the world a glimpse of what our activity is all about,” the caption reads.Â
Upon seeing their post, various followers went to the comment section to express their support for the team.
“So excited to watch this. it’s gonna be crazy,” one person wrote.
“It’s about time the world sees how amazing this activity is!!” another person wrote.
