Prediction: Who Is The Llama on ‘The Masked Singer’? Clues Decoded!
The Masked Singer season 3 kicked off with a new group of contestants after the Super Bowl. But none of them were goofier than the Llama. With his tongue sticking out, tourist-y attire, and an entire backside behind him, his looks outshine his vocals. So who’s under the mask?
Here are the clues and predictions for the Llama so far!
Clues On The Masked Singer
In his first clues package, the Llama is seen as a radio host on “23.3 The Wool.” He calls his fans the “nerd herd.” He’s here to “have a laugh.” Llama has a Buddha on his desk. Then, he says you can call him a joker, as an Ace and Jack of Spades are shown. We then see a “Sounds of Seattle” record. The Llama then spins some pottery after talking about how he’s singing a love song tonight for a “special someone.” He ends his clues by saying “Llama out!”
Popular Guesses for the Llama
The first panelist guess was Howard Stern, but other panelists quickly refuted that. Nicole Scherzinger then guessed the Llama was David Spade. Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong both thought it was Joel McHale, who was a guest panelist on The Masked Singer previously. The most popular guesses on the Internet are Jack Black, Drew Carey, and Ryan Seacrest.
Our Prediction & Clues Decoded
After all our detective work, we are predicting that the Llama is…Drew Carey!
There are so many clues that point to Drew Carey being the Llama on The Masked Singer. First of all, the 23.3 radio station is a direct correlation to the number of episodes of The Drew Carey Show: 233! The whole radio host stint could be alluding to the fact that he was a radio operator in the Marines and now hosts a radio show on SiriusXM. The Buddha on the desk references Drew Carey being Buddhist. He also mentions he’s here to “have a laugh,” which makes sense because he’s a comedian. The Ace and Jack of Spades could be a nod to the card games played on The Price is Right or the fact that he played on the World Poker Tour. Lastly, the “Sounds of Seattle” poster is a nod to his part ownership of the Seattle Sounders soccer team.
Did we miss any clues? There will be plenty more when The Masked Singer airs again on Wednesday at 8/7c on FOX.
