It’s the fifth season of The Masked Singer and it’s been a game changer! Some epic reveals and some even more legendary performances have happened already. And with singers like the Chameleon, there’s going to be more to come! He lights up the stage as this season’s resident rapper.
But who could the celebrity under the mask be? And what are the clues that prove his identity? We’ve mapped it all out here, with our prediction for The Masked Singer Chameleon!
Clues on The Masked Singer Season 5
The Chameleon’s first clue package started with him riding in on a motorcycle. He says he’s “one in chamillion.” A pair of dice with “2” and “3” showing are hanging from the handlebars. Chameleon says he doesn’t blend in, while a “CAMOFLAG” license plate is shown, but he “puts the tech in technicolor.” “It was all because of my pops, who always taught me to keep up with the times, ” he claims. He is reading a book with “I.T.” written on it, while he says his dad encouraged him to “tinker with everything.” An old monitor pops up on screen with “007” on the display. Chameleon puts two wires together, creating sparks.

Next, he’s playing an old-school video game with a joystick controller. The game says “BEWARE OF PIT” while the player flies into it. Chameleon says, “when my career almost tanked and I felt totally lost…I leaned back on what he taught me.” He used those tech-saavy skills to “amplify” his career and “change the game.”

Now let’s go through the clues that prove our prediction. On the motorcycle in the first clues package, we saw dice with “2” and “3” on them. Wiz Khalifa was featured on a song called “23.” A license plate reading “CAMOFLAG” is a nod to Wiz’s dad, who was in the military. He also talked about his pops teaching him to “keep up with the times.” Wiz Khalifa has a very close relationship with his dad and credits him with his success.

There were a ton of clues about technology, including saying he puts the “tech in technicolored” and a book that said “I.T.” on it. Wiz Khalifa has said in interviews that technology has helped his career. The many video game clues could also point to the fact that he plays video games or his mobile game, Weed Farm. A “007” clue could be a nod to his song “James Bong.” The “BEWARE OF PIT” clue is an allusion to his hometown of Pittsburgh. Finally, Cluedle-doo’s clue that Chameleon has a “history with precious gemstones” is referencing Wiz Khalifa’s single with Charlie Puth, “See You Again,” being certified diamond.

Another clue, that it is SNOOP DOGG, is that the Chameleon’s eyes are like his uncle–William Earl “Bootsy” Collins, an American musician, singer and songwriter. Bootsy” Collins played with James Brown and had several hits in the ’70s.

The Chameleon is none other than SNOOP DOGG! Several clues had the former pimp from Chicago’s Westside Austin Community, Bishop Magic Don Juan. He’d go and be seen with Snoop Dogg at several award shows. Also, the height, slender body, gestures, and walk were a dead giveaway.
