Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards Announces Pregnancy Days After Bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock

Another Little Mix baby is on the way! Perrie Edwards is pregnant with her first child with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. She completely shocked the world with her announcement on Monday morning. This exciting news comes less than a week after her bandmate, Leigh-Anne Pinnock announced she is expecting her first child with fiancé Andre Gray.

Edwards’ gorgeous black and white maternity shoot posted on Instagram receieved 1.6 miliion likes in under three hours. Fans are absolutely stunned that she and Pinnock are pregnant at the same time.
“So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate. Me + Him = You 🌎♥️ We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox!” the 27-year-old captioned the photos.
Her Little Mix bandmates showed their support in the comments section on the post.
“Arghhhhhhhh so so so happy for you both! And so bloody happy we get to go on this journey together! Love you so much” Pinnock wrote.
Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain first had relationship rumors swirling in 2016 before becoming Instagram official in 2017. He posted the maternity photoshoot on his Instagram account with a cheeky caption.
“Anyone got any advice on how to change nappies? 😅 so grateful and excited to become a dad ❤️ bring on the sleepless nights” the soccer player wrote.
Starting a family has always been something on Perrie’s mind. In 2015, she told The Sun’s Fabulous magazine that she would ideally want to have a child by the age of 24. At the time she was engaged to One Direction star Zayn Malik. The pair called it quits in 2015.

This year has already been huge for Little Mix who won the first season of The X Factor in 2011. They just released their music video for the song “Confetti” featuring rapper Saweetie. They postponed their tour to April 2022 but have not missed a beat after the departure of Jesy Nelsonfrom the band.
“The fact that two little mix members are now pregnant and both packed in as much work as they could with such a busy schedule. both announced their pregnancies on different days so each girl could have their moment and jade helped cover their pregnancies. I love their friendship” one fan pointed out on Twitter.
This trio have a bond that can never be broken. Bandmate Jade Thirlwall also expressed her excitement on Edwards’ Instagram announcement.
“Beaming for you both. I’m the luckiest auntie in the world. Love youuuuu” she wrote.
