The breakup news took a lot of fans by surprise, since Stokes had posted several photos of himself and Ballerini on Instagram just two days prior, wishing her a happy birthday. As he wrote in the caption, “although you keep saying you’re not excited for 32, id say I’m lookin forward to more of this. happy birthday my love.”
After the split was announced, a fan on X (formerly Twitter) posted a recent blind item from the gossip site Deuxmoi that sparked speculation about the breakup. Did Stokes Rekindle His Romance with Madelyn Cline?
The Deuxmoi blind item has fans wondering if Stokes has been rekindling his romance with his Outer Banks co-star Madelyn Cline. The pair dated for over a year before splitting in late 2021. Stokes was first linked to Ballerini in January 2023.
