Kelly Clarkson Looks Stunning Hosting Billboard Music Awards For 3rd Time

Kelly Clarkson proved why she is the queen of the music world after hosting the Billboard Music Awards. She opened up the show with an incredible Whitney Houston cover and all eyes were on the gorgeous gold dress she wore during the performance.
‘The Voice’ Coach Kelly Clarkson Hosted The 2020 Billboard Music Awards
Kelly was joined by Pentatonix and Sheila E. in a cover of “Higher Love” to open the show. This was the third year that The Voice coach was asked back to host the Billboard Music Awards. Needless to say, Kelly is a pretty great host and has already garnered a ton of experience hosting The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Kelly wore a stunning floor-length gold dress with a chunky gold necklace to match. She wore diamond hoop earrings and black strappy sandals to complete the look. It was just one of the many incredible looks she sported throughout the night. She also wore a silver Balmain dress with eye-catching fringe details. The plunging neckline and length really accentuated her figure.
Kelly later changed into another gold dress at another point in the show, this time a jaw-dropping metallic fabric. She wore a shiny gold pendant around her neck that looked like a snake.
At one point, Kelly changed up her hairstyle and opted for a headpiece made of gems to go along with a sleek black dress with silver accents. She stuck with black, gold and silver as her main color scheme for her outfit changes this year.
It’s pretty safe to say that Kelly’s fashion choices were all on point during the Billboard Music Awards. How did Kelly get to this level in her career? Kelly Was Having The Time Of Her Life Hosting The BBMA’s
“I’m thrilled to be back with my Billboard family,” Kelly said in a press release in February after it was announced she would be hosting. “I love being part of an event that celebrates our greatest artists and entertains our fans. This a night of music that you won’t want to miss!”
That certainly rang true as it was a night full of incredible performances coupled with Kelly’s contagious personality. The mom of two kept a smile on her face the entire time as she is currently going through a divorce from her husband of nearly seven years, Brandon Blackstock.
Kelly said during her opening monologue that music makes her cry like she does often. But, she mentioned that music also helps bring back good memories and make new ones. Before announcing the list of performers for the night, Kelly said that music has helped her get through the year.
