Have you ever wanted to sing a duet with Kelly Clarkson? Now may be the time for your dreams to come true. You have a chance to win a duet with Kelly Clarkson as part of The Kelly Clarkson Show‘s Kellyoke search. Here’s everything you need to know.
Kelly Clarkson is hitting the road ahead of the fourth season of her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show. For the talk show’s fourth season, the host is searching for a Kellyoke duet partner. As many know, Kellyoke is typically the first segment of the talk show, where Clarkson performs an audience picked song suggestion. It’s unknown at this time whether winners will be able to sing in person on The Kelly Clarkson Show or not.
Kelly Clarkson is Searching for Virtual Duet Partners
The Kelly Clarkson Show has officially launched their Kellyoke search, where they’ll find the greatest undiscovered singers around America. With this search, Kelly Clarkson is creating her own talent show by transforming the talk show’s sound stage into a tour bus. Auditions will feature hopeful singers performing a virtual duet with the Emmy and Grammy award winning talk show host.
The Kelly Clarkson Show begins their search virtually on August 21 in New York City at the Rockefeller Center Plaza. After New York City, the bus will head to Chicago, Dallas, and Los Angeles. The search concludes on September 7 in Los Angeles, California, at the Universal CityWalk Hollywood.
Fans that are unable to sing their virtual duet with Clarkson at a tour stop will also be able to prepare a video submission. Video submissions open on August 21 through #KellyokeSearch on TikTok.
The Specific Terms and Conditions of Kellyoke Search
All participants of the Kellyoke search must be 18 years of age or older. Participants under the age of 18 are still able to submit, with parent/guardian permission. Any other person in your submission must also be 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian permission.
Submissions must not contain any branding of any kind, personal information, or any illegal activities. These conditions still apply if the virtual duet is shared on other social media platforms.
Submitting your video in the contest gives both The Kelly Clarkson Show and presenter Citi the exclusive rights to your video. That being said, your submission may be broadcast on-air, on the program’s website, social media platforms, and more.
Hopeful singers are responsible for their own travel and lodging in the Kellyoke search. No matter if you’re a winner or not, there will be no payment or prize for submission or use of submission.
For more information and specific questions, check out The Kelly Clarkson Show‘s submission terms. Hopeful singers should expect to take part in COVID testing at in person dates. Those who test positive will be unable to perform.
