Kelly Clarkson is on fire as the host of The Kelly Clarkson Show with some major guests each week. On Thursday, February 25, Kelly will be sitting down with First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden. The American Idol winner announced the big news in an Instagram video.
Kelly Clarkson Will Interview First Lady Jill Biden This Month
“SURPRISE! Can you believe it!? I’m sitting down with @FLOTUS for her first solo interview as First Lady! It all airs on the @KellyClarksonShow on 2.25! #FLOTUSonKELLY” Kelly wrote on Instagram.
This will be Dr. Biden’s first solo television interview since becoming First Lady. The interview will be socially distanced amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The interview will be taking place at the White House. Another thing to look forward to during the episode is a special Kellyoke segment right in the East Wing of the White House. Kelly will be joined by her musical director Jason Halbert during this performance. The song was actually chosen by the First Lady herself. There is still no word yet on what song Kelly will be singing.
Kelly’s song covers on her show range from everything from “Price Tag” by Jessie J to “You Mean The World To Me” by Toni Braxton. Definitely tune in to see which song The Voice coach will sing during this special Kellyoke segment.
According to Deadline, the topic of the interview will range from “Biden’s continued commitment to education, military families, cancer research and bringing the country together, and they’ll both take questions from the show’s live virtual audience.”
Kelly Has Found Major Success As A Host
The Kelly Clarkson Show is currently in its second season and has found success on NBC. It became the most-watched new daytime talk show in seven years. Kelly even won an Emmy for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host along with two other Emmys for the show. The ratings for the show were so high they tied with the ratings of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
It was even suspected that The Kelly Clarkson Show would be taking over Ellen’s timeslot. “Telepictures knows Ellen wants out, but execs want to keep the time slots and put another host in her place,” a source told Page Six. “Kelly would likely get Ellen’s time slots, but Telepictures will fight to keep them.”
Though she is currently going through a divorce from her husband Brandon Blackstock, it is clear that The Voice coach is dedicated to working and taking her show to new heights. This is one of the many reasons she has become the queen of television as discussed in the video below.
