Katy Perry Explains That There’s No Bad Blood Between Her, Orlando Bloom’s Ex-Wife Miranda Kerr

American Idol judge Katy Perry recently praised her fiancé’s ex-wife Miranda Kerr after appearing on the red carpet alongside her. Perry openly spoke about their unusual relationship and expressed that she holds no bad feelings toward the Australian model.
Katy Perry Considers Her Husband’s Ex-Wife To Be Her “Sister From Another Mister”
Contrary to what people might believe, Perry‘s relationship Orlando Bloom‘s ex-wife is full of unconditional love. They showcased extreme fondness and closeness to each other while attending the G’Day USA Arts Gala on January 28, 2023. Perry presented the former Victoria’s Secret model with an award and said nothing but kind words and high praise for her.
“Many of you may be confused as to why I’m presenting Miranda with this award, It doesn’t fit the ex-wife, new wife narrative,” Perry said. “Many in the media would like to see us mud wrestle, but this is about love, and Miranda is love. I’m here to present the Excellence in Arts award to my sister from another mister, my health and wellness guru, and the heart of our family, Miranda Kerr.”
Kerr attended the event with her current husband Evan Spiegel, she revealed that her family frequently spends the holidays together with Perry. Kerr was married to Bloom from 2010 to 2013 and they share a 12-year-old son Flynn. The model stated that she loves Perry more than her ex-husband while being a guest on the Moments with Candace Parker podcast.
“We celebrate all the important milestones together, I love her. I mean, it’d be safe to say that I love her more than Flynn’s dad,” Kerr said. “[Orlando is]Â like, to me right now, a brother. And most of the time, an annoying brother.”
Perry Calls Their Family Relationship a “Modern Blended” One
The singer completely went on to dispel the narrative of an ex-wife that doesn’t get along with new wife in her actions. Perry considers Kerr a sister she usually goes to and opens up anytime she’s not with her family.
Perry and Bloom have been engaged since 2019, and they share a two-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove. Meanwhile Kerr and Bloom’s child, Flynn is said to be currently enjoying his blended family. With four parents who get along well together.
