JoJo Siwa Gets Candid About Dating Two Contestants from ‘So You Think You Can Dance’

JoJo Siwa recently commented on the fact that she’s dated two contestants from the recent season of So You Think You Can Dance. After being spotted kissing Madison Rouge Alvarado, she is now in a relationship with Dakayla Wilson.
JoJo Siwa Talks About Dating SYTYCD Contestants
Some fans of So You Think You Can Dance believe Siwa shouldn’t be allowed back on the show as a judge next season due to the fact that she has been romantically linked to two former contestants. The first is Madison Rouge Alvarado, whom she was photographed kissing.
Then earlier this month, the 21-year-old confirmed that she’s dating another contestant from the most recent season of the show, 18-year-old Dakayla Wilson. Recently, the couple did a live video together for fans, during which Siwa acknowledged her relationship with Alvarado.
In a clip posted on Reddit, Wilson referred to “the other person that you might have been involved with” who was also on their show, without naming Alvarado. When asked how she felt about the situation, Siwa replied, “Uno reversed,” making Wilson laugh.
“Look, I think love is a funny thing, and it’s a special thing,” Siwa elaborated. “And I think that I now am with somebody who made me really realize what love is, and that it’s not a word that’s just meant to be chucked out.”

Should Siwa Be Allowed Back on the Show?
Some fans think that Siwa’s relationships with two contestants from SYTYCD, which she judged on, should disqualify her from returning. They’ve argued that there’s a double standard at play, since former judge Matthew Morrison was ousted for allegedly sending inappropriate messages to a contestant.
“This feels so predatory,” wrote one Reddit user. “Any male judge would have been raked over the coals for having a relationship with one contestant turned employee, much less two. Not sure if ppl are letting this slide because JoJo is so young herself or because no one even cares about SYTYCD anymore.”
During the recent live conversation, Wilson confirmed that she and Siwa had been dating for a month. It’s not clear when Siwa ended her relationship with Alvarado. Siwa said in the clip that she’s “still a kid” who is “figuring it out for the first time.”
