America’s Got Talent frontrunner Jessica Sanchez recently shared a new update regarding her pregnancy. The singer is now celebrating her ninth month of pregnancy.
Jessica Sanchez Shares Excitement for Tail End of Pregnancy
On Sunday, September 14, singer Jessica Sanchez shared maternity photos to social media. The social media photos feature the singer draped in a pink dress, with her bump on full display.
“Today I officially step into my 9th month of pregnancy,” she wrote. “My heart is overflowing with gratitude for all the love and kind words that have been pouring in.”
I never imagined I’d be spending these final weeks of pregnancy away from home, in the middle of such an exciting competition,” she continued in the caption. “I truly believe God’s plan is greater than my own. This journey has been so unexpected, yet so beautiful, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
This post comes nearly days ahead of the AGT semifinals. In case you missed it, Sanchez is set to perform once again during the Semifinals on Tuesday, September 16.
The Singer Was Sick During The Quarterfinals
Sanchez almost didn’t take the stage during the Quarterfinals. Powering through sickness, the singer performed “Ordinary” by Alex Warren. After her song was completed, judge Simon Cowell commented on her passion, saying “I am absolutely blown away, because a few seconds ago, before Jessica came out, I heard that she wasn’t feeling too good.”
Cowell told Sanchez that she’s a “very brave person” due to her work ethic. It’s clear that there’s absolutely nothing holding her back from performing.
When talking to Sanchez during the Quarterfinals, she admitted that she’s “blessed to have these opportunities and have so much on my plate,” adding, “I feel really fed, and I feel full of just love and excitement for the future.”
As for when she’ll give birth, the singer told Talent Recap that she’s due “in the middle of October.” She added that if she advances all the way to the finale of Season 20, she “will be very pregnant.”
