Jennifer Hudson, Common Enjoy NBA Game Date Amid Romance Rumors

Jennifer Hudson and Common are certainly enjoying their time together. The talk show host and rapper recently ignited romance speculations once again, after they were spotted watching a basketball game at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
Jennifer Hudson, Common Spotted Watching Raptors-Clippers Game
Last week, Hudson and Common were sitting courtside together to watch the NBA game between Toronto Raptors and the Los Angeles Clippers. This has apparently further fueled the rumors about the two of them dating.
For the cozy outing, Hudson went for an all-black outfit, wearing a H.E.R. merchandise t-shirt and jacket. For his part, Common slipped on a checkered denim ensemble.

In a photographer-taken snap, the pair were seen smiling while watching the game. They were also photographed chatting throughout the basketball game.
Rumors about them dating began in 2022, after they starred alongside each other in Breathe, a action-thriller film from Stefon Bristol. Speculations broke when Hudson and Common were seen together in Philadelphia and Chicago. However, the “Spotlight” hitmaker cleared up that they were not an item.
“People create their narratives of it and it’s like, okay, you know, how you feel,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “We shot a film together and he played my husband. We gotta eat in between those moments.”
However, despite their denial, subsequent months seemingly prove that something special is going on with them. The two have attended various events together, including a November 2023 performance paying tribute to jazz singer Mikel Mwalimu-Banksat at Joe’s Pub theater in New York City.
She Says Her Romance Status Now is “More Sophisticated Than Booed Up”
Previously, Hudson hinted about her relationship status during an interview with CBS Mornings. According to the pop singer, she’s “very happy” at the moment with her unnamed partner. When asked if she’s “booed up,” Hudson said it’s more than that.
“Boo’ed up? I think it’s more sophisticated than boo’ed up,” she said. “It’s definitely not an entanglement, that’s for sure.”
In August 2023, Hudson didn’t directly answer if she’s dating the rapper.
“Rumors say a lot of things,” she told TMZ. “But he’s a beautiful man, I will give you that. That’s for certain.”
Hudson was previously engaged to David Otunga, but they eventually called it quits in 2017. She, however, shares son 13-year-old David Jr. with him. On the other hand, Common previously dated Tiffany Haddish, but split with her in 2021.
