Jennifer Hudson, Common Spend Date Night at Usher Concert Amid Romance Rumors

Jennifer Hudson and Common are certainly getting to know each other better. The two have recently been spotted attending Usher’s concert together in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jennifer Hudson, Common Enjoy Date Night During Usher’s Concert
The talk show host was seen together with the rapper during Usher’s My Way residency on Saturday, December 2. In a fan-captured video that surfaced on Instagram, Hudson and Common are smiling together while watching the singer perform.
The footage showed the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show headliner pulling Hudson up then beginning to sing “There Goes My Baby.” Hudson’s fangirl moment further intensified when Usher embraced her, with Common cozily sitting back and watching.
Soon after fans saw the clip, they were quick to express their pleasant reactions. It appears that fans are happy with the way Common handled the scene like a “secure” man.
“Common is the real star of this video, he said let me show y’all how real men react at one of these concerts. He took his lady there to have a good time and that’s exactly what the energy says. Not an insecurity in sight,” one person wrote.
“The way Common moved that table is the energy a man should have! If she gone cheat or play she will do it in your face anyway. I need to see how my lady carry herself with me at a Usher concert! They all on the same level Common definitely ain’t concerned about losing her!” another commented.
As of writing, Hudson and Common have remained mum about their relationship rumors.
Dating Speculations Between Them Began Last Year
During the early 2022, Hudson and Common sparked dating rumors when they were spotted together in Philadelphia and Chicago. This news came after the May 2022 announcement that they would be co-starring in the action-thriller film Breathe together.
In September that year, Hudson denied that there had been romance brewing between her and Common.
“People create their narratives of it and it’s like, OK, you know, how you feel,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “We shot a film together and he played my husband. We gotta eat in between those moments.”
However, she seemingly confirmed her romance with the rapper last month, although she didn’t expressly mention his name. In a previous interview with CBS Mornings, she responded “Yes” when host Gayle King said that she’s currently in “a very nice relationship.”
Back in June, Common addressed his and Hudson’s rumored relationship. The actor, however, decided to keep it coy then.
“She’s an amazing human being. I’ve always been inspired by her,” he said. “She’s one of the most beautiful people I have ever met on the planet. Incredible heart and she’s just dope, man. Seeing her evolve from an actress and singing, like, doing so many things, now a talk show. She’s amazing. She’s inspiring. I’m grateful to know her.”
