Howie Mandel is officially returning to the game show world later this month. After being known as the host for CNBC series Deal or No Deal, Mandel returns to a hosting position with Bullsh*t the Game Show. Bullsh*t The Game Show premieres on Netflix on April 27.
Ahead of the filming of America’s Got Talent, it was announced that Mandel was working on his own unscripted series. With the release date right around the corner, Netflix shared a first look at this upbeat series.
Howie Mandel Hosts A Trivia Game That Urges Players to Get Answers Wrong
While most trivia shows are about getting trivia facts right, this one gives wrong answers a chance too. Not knowing the answer is simply the best part of this game. Players are always right as long as they can portray they are. Bullsh*t the Game Show is less about what you know and more about how you can convince someone you’re right. If players are able to convince others, they will stay in the running for the grand prize of one million dollars.
“I don’t really like trivia, but I love Bullsh*t,” Mandel says in the first look video.
Throughout the show, players work their way up the money ladder by answering questions right, or by convincing others that another answer is correct. The trailer portrays that a player can answer every single question wrong and still win the one million dollar final prize.
From the first look alone, it’s obvious that Netflix got the best host for this joke-filled game show. Since Mandel is a jokester by nature, it’ll add a whole new layer to this intense game show.
Mandel is returning to his game show hosting days accompanied with several other unscripted appearances. He’s currently seen on the series Canada’s Got Talent on Citytv and has America’s Got Talent on the rise. The comedian also still holds the role as the host and executive producer as the CNBC game show, Deal or No Deal. This brand new game show premieres on Netflix on April 27.
