Britain’s Got Talent is still a few months away but the auditions are starting next month. They will separate the good from the suck and choose the lucky groups that will face Simon and the gang next year. You can be a singer, dancer, magician, dog act, puppet act, whatever. All you have to do is impress the judges. And be in Great Britain. And Audition. This is how you do it.
So, let’s say that you live in the UK and you have a special gift that you think will make Simon’s chest hairs twitter with joy. How do you go about getting on the show? Well, first off, you have to audition. You can do that one of two ways. You can show up to audition live at one of these venues or you can send in a video audition by going here. I’ve always thought that a live audition is more effective but they claim it makes no difference.
Then if you get picked you’ll go through several levels of vetting to 1) further thin the herd and 2) make sure you aren’t a lunatic. After two or three months of this you get to go in front of the judges on national TV. No biggie. So, please let us know if you audition and what the process is like and good luck!
