Heidi Klum looked stunning in a sleek black jumpsuit with gold decals hanging down the front during her appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden. This look might be a subtle nod to hitting her Golden Buzzer for Léa Kyle in this week’s episode of America’s Got Talent. The supermodel showed off her dance moves that her daughter Leni deems “cringeworthy.” Are her dancing skills Golden Buzzer-worthy?

Heidi Klum’s Dancing Skills Embarrass Her Daughter Leni

James Corden commended Heidi for always having positive energy. Heidi is a breath of fresh air next to Howie Mandel who has become quite the grouch on this season of America’s Got Talent. She started modeling in 1992. The ideal look at the time was “Heroin chic.” Her bubbly personality was actually not favored back then.

“When I came along I’m like ‘hi guys I’m Heidi, I’m from Germany’ and they’re like ‘oh yeah way too happy,'” she said about her start as a model.

At castings, they said she was “way too happy and way too curvy.” Heidi recalled a time where she went to Paris to try clothes on and they didn’t fit. Corden joked that he had the exact same problem. Heidi has gone on to become one of the most successful models in the world along. She has been hosting her own television shows for nearly two decades. Her daughter Leni is well on her way to becoming just as successful as her.

Leni is growing up right before Heidi’s eyes. She is driving now and is Heidi’s “mini-me” because she loves to act goofy and be playful on set. Heidi did give Leni some advice before she embarked on a modeling career of her own.

“Don’t let anyone tell you what you should do,” Heidi said. “If you don’t like it just don’t do it. It’s OK to say no.”

Corden had to bring up the fact that Leni called out her mom’s cringeworthy dancing in a recent interview. Whenever Heidi drops Leni off at school she blasts the music really loud. This makes Leni feel “embarrassed.” Heidi got up and started dancing around the stage. We would definitely give her moves a Golden Buzzer.

Heidi Reflects on One of the Standout Acts of ‘AGT’ Season 16

After being in quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic, people have certainly gotten creative and found their hidden talents. Heidi thinks that many of the contestants on this season of America’s Got Talent actually developed their acts during this downtime.

“I feel like people were bored and they came up with the craziest things because I’ve seen this year I feel like crazier things than I’ve ever seen,” she said. “So sometimes I guess they put so many different acts and mush them up into a new one so it’s like how did they come up with this? It had to be because of COVID.”

Corden asked Heidi to pinpoint one act that she feels like was completely different from anything they have ever seen before. The way she describes the act hints that she is talking about dancer Keith Apicary.

“There is one dancer, for example, he is so wild and so free and different with his dance moves we all fell in love with him,” Heidi said. “Like normally we would probably say no in years before but now with COVID and like I don’t know they come up with these crazy things and he was just so cute and adorable we put him through.”

Heidi is currently promoting the second season of her show Making the Cut about finding the next great fashion brand. The show features 10 designers from around the world. They compete in a series of challenges for a chance to win $1 million for their business. The show premieres on Friday, July 16, 2021, on Amazon Prime Video.
