Gordon Ramsay Looks for ‘Future Food Stars’ on New Competition Show
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Gordon Ramsay is back with yet another new competition show, this time called Future Food Stars. The premise involves Ramsay looking for a great food and drink business to invest in. Based on the show’s trailer, things are going to get intense.
Gordon Ramsay to Premiere New Show ‘Future Food Stars’
In the trailer for Gordon Ramsay’s Future Food Stars, Ramsay tells viewers, “Join me, Gordon Ramsay, as I push 12 food and drink entrepreneurs to their absolute limits.”
The show looks to be way more extreme than you’d expect from a cooking show — even the ones hosted by Ramsay. Contestants can be seen jumping off cliffs, riding bicycles, and stressing out in the kitchen. At one point, Ramsay demonstrates sharpening knives while blindfolded as the contestants look on nervously.
The show’s 12 contestants are vying for £150,000 of Ramsay’s own money as an investment in their business. Contestants own a variety of food and drink businesses, including a zero-waste restaurant, a dairy-free and gluten-free brownie company, a mussel bar, and a brand of Indian sauces.

The Show Was Already Renewed for a Second Season
Future Food Stars has yet to air its first season, but it’s already been renewed for a second. Ramsay recently put out a call for people to apply for the next competition. If you’d like to appear on Season 2, you can apply here.
The show might also be headed to the United States, as The Mirror reports that FOX bought the rights to broadcast the show in a “multimillion pound deal.” Ramsay’s show Next Level Chef recently finished up its first season on the network, and the new season of MasterChef Junior is set to premiere March 17.
According to a press release, Gordon Ramsay’s Future Food Stars will premiere on BBC One and BBC iPlayer soon.
