The revival season of Canada’s Got Talent surely got the attention of Got Talent fans everywhere. With the highly anticipated second season of Canada’s Got Talent on CityTV on the rise, let’s take a look at some of the contestants gracing the stage. Canada’s Got Talent premieres March 21 at 8 p.m. ET on CityTV, CityTV+, CityTV.com and on the CityTv app, unfortunately there is currently no way to watch the series in America.
Contestants on Canada’s Got Talent 2023
Raymond Salgado Singer
Raymond is a singer hailing from Vancouver Island, British Columbia. This singer previously appeared on American Idol, but didn’t make it to Hollywood Week.
This group is a pogo stunt team hailing from Orillia, Ontario. They currently hold 14 Guinness World Records for pogo achievements, such as highest jump, most consecutive cars jumped over, and highest front flip.
Alexandra Côté
If you watched America’s Got Talent season 16 (2021), you’ll recognize Alexandra Côté and her border collies. It was a shame this group didn’t make it past judge deliberations, so I personally cannot wait to see them again.
Jack Thomas
Jack is a one-armed drummer, audio engineer, and producer, hailing from Burnaby, British Columbia. He currently has over 14,000 subscribers on YouTube, and over 20,000 followers on Instagram.
Ashley Veldboom
Ashley is a Orillia, Ontario based dancer, arco dance educator and model. She appears to be relatively undiscovered at this moment.
Magic Ben is a sleight of hand magician hailing from Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. His acts typically feature talks about his journey from growing up in a small Inuit community to becoming one of the top magicians in North America.
Canada’s Elite All Star Cheerleading group, The Cheerforce Golden Girls are ready to bring their polished craft to the stage. The group, from Oakville, Ontario, is passionate about having fun, while practicing to become the best of the best.
Toria Summerville is a contortionist and acrobat that goes by the stage name, Flexy T. Hailing from Ajax, Ontario, this acrobat is sure to be Canada’s Got Talent‘s Sofie Dossi.
Mr. Cuddles The Evil Octopus is a Britain’s Got Talent alum, known as a somewhat creepy ventriloquist act. Aside from his BGT past, Mr. Cuddles and his handler Jamie Swettenham (professionally known as Damien James) have been featured on Penn and Teller’s Fool Us.
This contestant is an entertainer hailing from Montreal, Quebec. We’re not exactly sure what to expect from this entertainer, since their social media features a bunch of different talents.
If you’ve seen America’s Got Talent season 16 (2021), you’ll recognize Grand Barachois, New Brunswick singer Anica. This realtor had an extremely shocking voice on AGT, so we can’t wait to see what she’ll do on CGT.
