Reading Time: 2 minutes
Exuding confidence during his audition, magician Sangsoon Kim is igniting more heat on America’s Got Talent. This act from South Korea is both jaw-dropping and cocky, believing that he’s better than former finalist Yu Hojin. Let’s get to know him more.
Sangsoon Kim Thinks He Can Outshine Former AGT Finalist Yu Hojin
Flying in from South Korea to grab his chance on AGT, Sangsoon stepped on stage in a laid back manner, wearing a gray and black outfit. When asked by judge Howie Mandel why he joined the competition, he stated that season 17 finalist Yu Hojin somehow convinced him to do so.
“We kept talking about AGT, and I said, ‘Oh, I can go because I’m better,’” he said.
The show’s early release reveals how the trick genius has effortlessly awed the whole auditorium with his distinct brand of magic. In the video, Sangsoon performs in sleight of hand using several pairs of sneakers. The magician, in an impressive method of deception, was able to change the color of each pair, even making some appear and disappear.
For a while, Sangsoon has been trying to get a big break in the magical arena. For those who may not know, the magician has obtained the FISM Most Originality Award. Apart from being a magician, Sangsoon is also a businessman and producer. He is one of the founders of SMOOTH Production Co., where they create CGI products for their clients. He launched a YouTube channel back in 2019 where he uploads and promotes some of their creative projects.
With his artistic inclination, it’s thus not surprising that Sangsoon can expertly captivate the audience in just one move.
America’s Got Talent Fans Are Impressed, Spellbound
