There Will Be A New Voting Twist On ‘DWTS’

It was announced that during week one of the competition, there will be no fan voting or elimination. For their first dance, the couples will only be scored by the judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough who took Len Goodman’s spot on the panel. These scores will be combined with the week two scores and audience vote which will determine who will be eliminated in week two. As for the voting in week two, it will work the same way for the rest of the season. Fans will be able to vote in real-time during each live broadcast.

Tyra Banks is set to host the exciting new season after Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews were ousted from the show. Tom actually threw some major shade at Tyra’s promotional image from the show, posting his own version of it on Twitter. “This Just In: National Association of Lip Safety cautions against applying multiple small mirrors on mouth. One bad chew and it’s 7 years of bad luck” his caption said.

Tom actually received quite a bit of support after his tweet as many of his loyal fans pledged to not watch the show without him on it. While others felt he was trying to mock Tyra. “She is beautiful, humorous, and talented! You like the old host cool, but all the insults are so juvenile…is this high school?” said one Twitter user.

The pros that are dancing with each celebrity will also finally be revealed during the premiere.
